The licensed operator
Cremations of Dallas is a direct-cremation service. Services are performed under the supervision of Carlos Vargas, a Texas Licensed Funeral Director holding TFSC License #119648, issued by the Texas Funeral Service Commission.
An honest note about licensing. Carlos Vargas holds an individual funeral director’s license, and that license is current and verifiable. The firm’s establishment license (TFSC Establishment License No. 4964) is a separate credential, and we would rather say so plainly than let the distinction blur. You can confirm the director’s license yourself through the Commission’s public license lookup.
Our operational address is 12101 Greenville Ave. #118, Dallas, TX 75243. The phone number, (214) 550-7369, is answered by our own staff, day and night. It is not an answering service and it is not a call center.

Why this service exists separately
Most funeral homes sell direct cremation as the lowest-priced item on a long list. It sits at the bottom of a price sheet full of caskets and chapel time, and it is nobody’s priority. Families who want only a cremation end up navigating a business built around something else.
We built this the other way round. One service, one price, a phone number that a person answers, and a process that does not require you to visit anyone. If you want a viewing, a chapel, or a graveside service, we are honestly not the right people, and we will say so and point you somewhere that is.
What we will not do
- We will not upsell you at the door. Nobody calls you afterwards to ask about a nicer urn.
- We will not publish reviews we collected ourselves. When we display testimonials, they will come from a third-party platform with the family’s documented consent, and not before.
- We will not quote a number we cannot honor. If something is going to cost extra, you hear the figure before you owe it.
